This is one of the most prolific, and well-known Silversmith companies, from Spain, which manufactured for the English and American High End Domestic Market and beyond, such unique accented pieces, either decorative as well as utilitarian in their whimsy, quality of material and craftsmanship, notwithstanding with sophistication and elegance. As close-up image indicates, engraved, Almazon, Spain, country of Provenance, on the underside center of piece. A wonderful piece manufactured at a time, with a singular distinction and quality. Made for that special gentlemen in one's life, man cave/bar area/office/den/library, or Gentleman's Butler/ or top of Chest for a change all dish or keepsakes, like cuff links/tie clips, etc., any entry or interior living domain and thereon, but make no mistake an unforgettable piece, conversations will abound from this. for those who covet it. In great condition almost excellent, except for a better silver polishing. We wanted to retain some minor patina, to showcase the age, indicative to such unique decorative pieces for any interior domain, gift giving, etc. See less
