The nephrite jade is pale celadon in color.

The magnifying glass is framed in a silver tone metal and supported with an A-frame splayed foot, and was likely assembled in the early 20th century by someone influenced by Edward I. Farmer or one of his contemporaries.

It is unmarked for the maker. The jade is finely carved and possibly earlier than the 20th century.

Simply a lovely antique Chinese accessory!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with some signs of light wear consistent with age and use.

Fineness:
The silver tone metal is unmarked for fineness or content and has not been tested.
