Small Lega masks are called Lukwakongo and were worn on the arm, carried in the hand, attached to a hat or grouped with similar masks .Lega art is exclusively focused on and associated with the Bwami society, and each object has a precise role and function within their ceremonies and rituals and is used only to be initiated. Passport Mask are usually carried when traveling. Africans passport masks to identify their tribes or countries of origin when traveling across the continent.
