Mid century modern walnut low bench with hutch designed by Merton Gerhsun for American of Martinsville's Danish line from the … Read more Mid century modern walnut low bench with hutch designed by Merton Gerhsun for American of Martinsville's Danish line from the 1960s. The low bench, which can be used as a coffee table has three drawers with brass accents on the legs and stretcher. Hutch has two sliding glass doors as well has grooves on its shelves for displaying plates (not shown in the photos). The drawer on the bottom of the hutch has divided sections for flatware. Hutch is placed on the left end of the bench but one can put it anywhere on the bench or even use them separately. Both pieces are not finished on the backside and designed to be placed against the wall.
