I was shopping in Italy for ceramics and in a sea of platters, this one jumped off the wall. The contrast of the green/turquoise center, against the midnight blue is stunning. The center Cherub is an icon of Florence and at first glance, he is the prominent focus, but a closer study reveals beautiful faces and details in the Navy band. Fantastic in a kitchen, over a stove or above a fireplace. It would also look great centered over a shapely headboard. 25 years old. See less
