Jackson Pollock ( 1912 - 1956 ) was an American painter and major figure in The Abstract Expressionist Movement. He was well known for his unique style of " Drip Painting ". The groundbreaking images he created, and the materials he worked with were both experimental, innovative and non traditional. During his life time, Pollock enjoyed considerable fame and notoriety, he was a major artist of his generation. He had a volatile personality and struggled for most of his life. His marriage to artist Lee Krasner had an important influence on his career and legacy. The Museum of Modern Art New York has held four retrospective exhibitions of his artworks. Pollock is considered to be one of the most important Modern artists of The 20th Century.

The out of print Abstract Expressionist print measures 14 1/4" W X 11" H. It is printed on heavyweight smooth finish paper stock with a satin finish. On the reverse back side are details about the artist and the artwork.
