I could not … Read more First, I apologize about the photos of this fine lamp being taken outside on my back deck. I could not seem to get appropriate lighting inside that would capture the beauty of this lamp without creating glare or shiny spots eminating from the glass.

This is a quite unique designer lamp by Paul Hanson, 1960's vintage. It is made of highly decorative "tubed" glass (rod), "spiraled" glass (above and below the rod) and bronze (the base, as well as separators between the tubed glass and spiraled glass). It includes the original (and quite unique and decorative) finial.

Overall the lamp is in outstanding condition, and I can find no defects in spite of its age.

I do not include a shade with this special lamp so that the buyer can select just the right shade to match decorating needs. Due to the neutral colors (brass and glass), lots of opportunities exist for selection of just the right shade.

The lamp cord is original and in excellent condition. The length of the cord is around 5 1/2 to 6 feet long. The lamp works to perfection.

It stands about 34 1/2" tall at the top of the finial. The base measures about 5 1/2" square. It has felt on the bottom so that it will not scratch wood furniture. It is quite heavy. See less
