Each binding design is modeled after the original art binding on the official copies of the Versailles Peace Treaty which were signed by heads of state and deposited in their respective government archives: V1; France, V2; Belgium, V3; England, V4; Italy, V5; Poland, V6; Uruguay, V7; Germany. V1 dedication page to owner for service during the war, certified by the American Legion, signed by Lemuel Bolles, national adjutant, and John R. Quinn, national commander. Within is a comprehensive and readable source record of World War I with emphasis on important events. Each volume is a complete narrative in actual words of the chief officials and leaders.
