V1 dedication page to owner for service during the war, certified by the American Legion, signed by Lemuel Bolles, national adjutant, and John R. Quinn, national commander. Within is a comprehensive and readable source record of World War I with emphasis on important events. Each volume is a complete narrative in actual words of the chief officials and leaders.
