Evocative contemporary figurative abstract by NanC Meinhardt (American, 20th Century). Reminiscent of her bead work; a stylized silver figure decorated with colorful beadwork patterns is the focal point, surrounded by swirling and dripping abstract shapes and patterns that fill the circular composition.
Signed "Nan C Meinhardt" lower right.

Nan C Meinhardt is an artist and art educator specializing in beaded sculpture and wearable art, and off-loom weaving techniques. Her work has been published in over 49 books, including Masters: Bead weaving (Lark Books) and 500 Beaded Objects (Lark), and many magazines; and has been shown in international exhibits.
