Indra is the King of Gods who possesses mighty power to destroy evil and deception. He is the most important and celebrated deity in Vedic Hinduism. Seated with the right knee up on top of a mythical dragon above lotus throne, the Buddha has a full, round face with large downcast eyes and pursed lips. An elaborate crown covers the hair which is neatly gathered away from the face. He wears a dhoti with a sash draping from the shoulder and patterned bottom that exposes the feet. A gentle smile and peaceful, confident aura. Sculpture is done finely with detailed depiction of the details. Indra statue is hard to come by. This is the one piece we have. See less
