Fabulous Antique Indo-Persian miniature Paintings on Silk featuring interior palace scenes with a central figure (Shah?) surrounded by his court. Watercolor gouache with ink and highlights of metallic gold paint. PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND! We were told by the family that these date to the mid or late 19th century.
The art itself measures 7” x 10” within a double matte. Framed simply but elegantly with gold wood frame. Condition appears overall very good and the colors are bright and vivid, however there is some evidence of the silk rippling which is common. They measure 12” x 16” Overall framed.
Would be a wonderful compliment to your MCM Modernist, upscale Hollywood Regency eclectic Boho decor. Please ask any and all questions prior to offer or purchase.
