This set of twelve (12) limited edition lithographs after drawings by listed American artist Henry Strater (USA 1896 - 1987) depict female nudes. The images were printed by the Anthoensen press in Portland, Maine in 1958. A total of 3000 portfolios were published. The lithographs are printed on the same type and size as the originals were drawn upon. Each is signed and dated in the plate.The reverse of each is blank.. Great for a huge wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Apprx. 12.5" x 20"
Henry Strater (USA 1896 - 1987) was a well listed American artist. he was the founder of the Ogunquit museum Of American Art (OMAA). He also became good friends withErnest Hemingway after an impromtu street corner boxing match in Paris.
