This is a collected set of four (4) Green Ashtrays / Catchalls from 1950s Wade Pottery (founded in 1810s Ireland). … Read more This is a collected set of four (4) Green Ashtrays / Catchalls from 1950s Wade Pottery (founded in 1810s Ireland). Each tray has 4 corner wells, and each is marked "Irish Pottery Made in Ireland" with a shamrock between lines and a potter's initial underneath, as was the way of marking Wade Pottery items in the mid-1950s. Each has a central illustration. Three of these have a ram's head and one has a horse drawn carriage. They are a lovely green with hints of brown interspersed. Most spectacular are the embossed Irish Shamrocks along the edges, underscored by a sublime row of Celtic knot. The four are stackable.

Each tray measures 4" x 4". The collection is in excellent condition.
