This Really is a Great Looking Original Matched Pair of Large Size Antique Solid Cast Brass Trivets. Circa Mid 19th Century. Most likely English in Origin. These Could have Been Used for Sad Irons, Hot Pots & Pans, on a Fireplace - Hearth Setting Etc. Note that it is Quite Unusual to Find a Matched Pair. They are Very Heavy - Substantially Cast. I purchased this item in the Central New England Region. They are in Very Good Condition with No Damage - No Repairs. The Tops are Lightly Tarnished. They Display Very Nicely in their Currant Condition or they Would Polish Up Beautifully. Each measures 1 1/2 inches Tall x 10 5/8 inches Long x 4 1/4 inches wide.
