Each vase has a neck decorated with ivy and flowers, and on its front side there are revolving scenes in ralief from the Greco-Roman period. This is followed by paintings recalling different key moments of that period: from warriors or gladiators displaying swords and shields, to the oracle in front of his brazier preparing to sacrifice a goat, to laurel-crowned musicians playing the lyre and the diaule.
With multiple colours, enhanced by petals in violet, yellow and orange, these vases are underlined by gold edgings magnifying the whole.
This pair of Capodimonte vases in shimmering colours will delight lovers of antique objects who are looking to bring a touch of antiquity to their interior decoration.
