The rectangular shape of this set includes 10 original Crystal containers, each with its own silver-plated and chased metal lid.
The lid, covered with its original royal blue fabric, remains locked thanks to a clip-on compass system, adjustable in four positions. A discreet push button opens a drawer with the same fabric, which is ideal for hiding jewellery from prying eyes. The opening features the signature of the famous Liverpool manufacturer, "John Bagshaw & Sons", supplier to the British nobility in the Victorian era, attesting to its quality and authenticity. Note the presence on the lid of a plaque bearing the name of the first owner, Anne Verburgh.
