We will create … Read more Offered for your consideration is this Circa 1949 35mm Motion Picture Mitchell Camera prop / display camera.
We will create this camera display prop using all factory original Mitchell components. Please allow 30-45 days for completion of this custom build. The look of your purchased camera will be very close if not identical to this example but also may differ slightly based on original Mitchell components available in the workshop at the time.

Externally, it shows and displays as a real looking Mitchell 35mm motion picture studio camera, but this display piece has no internal camera movement and is not a working camera.

This wonderful example is priced at a fraction of the cost of a similar properly working Mitchell camera of this era. And it offers a very realistic display presence. We think it looks terrific and ‘ready to shoot’.

Included is a vintage 1000′ (or 400'... buyer's choice) Mitchell 35mm magazine with drive belt, a vintage correct rare Mitchell motor made to fit a working Mitchell camera, a real Mitchell camera body box with Mitchell finder door and Mitchell motor door.

A tripod is NOT included but available. The lens will be a tribute fabrication that looks actual, but is not a working lens.

Offered for those buyers on a tight budget yet who still want an authentic looking display piece for home, studio or office.

We feel this is a very rare find and a wonderful looking artifact comprised of real Mitchell components.
