The interior is a little dusty and could use a nice cleaning before use. It has a lock on top and bottom and they both work great using the same key. The top glass is in great shape with no cracks. The wood on the glass lays on top and doesn't actually go into the glass, it is one large piece of glass. It has a lot of ice carved details including a raised section on the front door, surrounded by dark finish to give it a shadow effect. On the inside of the main bottom section is a small light with a pull cord. This allows the work area to light up for some late night work studies. Not sure if this original to the piece or added at a later date. The cord runs out of the back as shown. Unique shape fora secretary with plenty of storage space. It measures 29 x 17 x 68.
