-Vintage BATH OF VENUS Painting Study 44x34" Oil / Canvas, Nude Woman Cupid Cherub Babies Children Francois Boucher French Classical Art
-Interesting study / rendition of "The Bath of Venus" originally painted by Francois Boucher, 1751. Oil paint on stretched canvas; no frame. Apparently unsigned. Estimated date mid-20th century.
-Approximate dimensions: 44" high, 34" wide, 1" deep.
-Painting is in overall good vintage condition with light surface wear, some crazing, and dirt marks. There is a small puncture in the canvas in the top section (see photo #6). The stretchers are somewhat warped so the painting does not sit flat (bottom left corner sticks out). Cleaning or restoration has not been attempted by us.
-Colors: blue, beige / flesh, green, brown, black, red, orange, white, gray / grey.
