Circa Mid 19th … Read more This Really is a Absolutely Beautiful - Very Fine Quality Vintage Sterling Silver and Crystal Ice Bucket. Circa Mid 19th Century. It is Rendered in a Retro Art Deco Style. The Thick - Very Heavy Full Lead Crystal Bucket has Bold - Deep All Hand Cut & Polished Decorated Features. Crystal is Not Signed but Based on my Many Years of Experience the Maker can Confidently be Attributed to the T. G. Hawkes Company of Corning New York. The The Top Rim and Swing Handle is Substantially Made out of Solid Sterling Silver. It also has the Matching Sterling Silver Strainer that fits Perfectly in the Bottom Interior of the Bucket. It is Marked 925 Denoting its Sterling Silver Content. It also has has an Assortment of other Hallmarks that indicate that it was Made in Germany by the Documented Dresden Maker "HB" - Herman Behrnd. Because the Solid Sterling Silver Top Rim and Handle are Permanently Attached to he Bucket I Cannot get an accurate Weight on that but the Strainer Insert has a Substantial Solid Sterling Silver Weight of 50.74 Grams / 1.631 Troy Ounces. It is in Excellent Overall Condition - No Damage - No Repairs - Displays Beautifully. The Silver is Very Lightly Tarnished. The Cut Crystal Features have a Wonderful Clear Color & Sparkle in the Light - It is Much Prettier in Life than my Photographs can Capture.
It Measures Overall with the Handle in the Carry Position 10 inches Tall.
The Bucket itself Measures 5 1/2 inches Tall x 5 1/4 inches Long x 4 3/4 Inches Wide.
The Carry Handle is also 5 1/4 inches Long.

The Cut Crystal Features have a Wonderful Clear Color & Sparkle in the Light - It is Much Prettier in Life than my Photographs can Capture.

THIS PIECE MUST BE HAND WASHED IN WARM WATER ONLY.
