Rare and beautiful stoneware lamp by axel salto for royal copenhagen, denmark in 1958. The lamp base is modeled in salto´s signature "budding style" and features a stunning oxblood glaze. Marked underneath with royal copenhagens logo (three waves) and "salto". Factory first. Mounted with a new white linen shade. Rewired with new fabric wire. Us plug can be installed. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
