The modest white glaze does not detract from the exquisite details. On opposing ends of a picket fence enclosed field are two scenes. On the left, a girl chases a mischievous boy who holds her left hand while she attempts to hit him with a stick. On the right, perhaps, is the same boy and girl at a later stage in their lives. This time he is pursuing her as she sits on the fence. His hat falls off as he leans over to offer her a flower, both lost in each other's gaze.
