It is Completely Hand Made … Read more This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Vintage American Primitive Carry Basket. Circa Early 20th Century. It is Completely Hand Made - Hand Woven out of Indigenous Brown Ash Wood splint. It has Exceptionally Nice Workmanship - Attention to Detail in the Weaving - Construction - Composition Etc. It also has a Wonderful Natural Aged Color and Patina. This is a Very Strong - Heavy Gauge Splint - Tightly Woven Basket. It is in Excellent Condition - Displays Beautifully. I acquired this piece in the Down East Coastal Maine Region.
Basket itself measures 7 inches Tall x 14 1/2 inches Long x 8 3/4 inches Wide.
It is 12 inches Tall including the Carry Handle.
