Aldo … Read more Not many Aldo Tura pieces can be compared to this unique lamp, hand-carved from a single piece of wood. Aldo Tura lamps were done in small editions and the detail and level of sophistication in carving on this particular lamp would be impossible to do on a larger scale. It depicts a bearded monk holding a stick (removable) in one hand and in the other a lantern, electrified, made of gold metal and plastic. On the bottom there is the inkstamp "Macabo Milano Cusanino Italy". This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
