This sophisticated ceramic lidded box was realized by the esteemed maker Rosenthal. It features a round body with a sculptural pull in the form of a halved apple sitting on a textural surface that looks like pulled fabric (a gathered table cloth per chance) a la Bernini. With its beautiful craftsmanship and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century to contemporary. It is signed "Rosenthal Studio-Line Germany" and is in excellent vintage condition.
