It's printed from the original negative and comes with the proof of authenticity.
This is a fine art certified Slim Aarons photograph, produced utilizing the actual physical transparencies and is Slim Aarons Archive issued and stamped.
This print is tested, proofed and calibrated by the Archive and is a fine art photographic print that can't be compared to the cheap quality Slim Aarons prints selling online. Print features the Desert House in Palm Springs, CA in January 1970. The Desert House was designed by Richard Neutra for Edgar J. Kaufmann. In the image, Lita Baron approaches, while in the foreground (left) Nelda Linsk, wife of art dealer Joseph Linsk, is talking to her friend, Helen Dzo Dzo. The print you'll receive is shown in the first picture, the rest of the pictures show various decorating ideas.
Slim Aarons described his photographs of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s as documenting “attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places.” As a postwar photographer who had earned a Purple Heart in combat, Aarons perfected the environmental portrait. His subjects were society swans, European aristocracy, and Hollywood royalty in beautiful hideaways like Palm Beach and Sardinia. Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
