His works were included in the Salon des Artistes Français between 1910 and 1939.
He received an honorable mention in 1910 and several medals. Knight of the Legion of Honor in 1932, he was awarded another gold medal at the 1937 International Exhibition.
Unpublished subject, therefore rare, "Goat and her kids" is a bucolic bronze underlining the artist's passion for animals. The goat walks accompanied by its two young. Ary Bitter sculpts them in a fine and rough way.
On the terrace we find the signature of the artist and at the back his monogrammed stamp.
This touching and singular work will seduce the lovers of animal bronzes.
