We are selling this charming Naive American painting. This painting has great Americana feel with a very Folk art depiction of a ship in a storm ravaged by the sea with the sails in tatters and the sailors abandoning ship. The colors of the stormy sea really make this an interesting picture. This 19th century painting has lots of old repairs.
Condition: Lots of old repairs to canvas. Right edge of canvas has lifted from a previous re-lining, probably needs to be re-lined again.
