The geisha Otomi, the main character of a Sewamono play, a love drama in which several men fight for the favor of the geisha. In this scene, Otomi calmly watches Yosaburo threaten her rich protector Tazaemon with a kitchen knife. Signature Toyokuni ga. Publisher: Ezakiya Tatsuzo. Censorship: Aratame.
