Sleeping Boy is an original modern artwork realized in the 16th century by Giovanni Fontana. Ivory colored sheet attached on an ivory colored cardboard (cm 36 x 27) Beautiful drawing in graphite, representing a boy sleeping with his dog in elegant ancient dressing. Hand-signed in pencil on lower-right margin " G. Fontana dis.". In good condition, with light foxings, and some ripples on the lower margin. Including passepartout, cm 41.8 x 34.7 This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
