Partial set of numbered Classical mahogany dining chairs, having two (2) arm and six (6) side chairs, with shaped and scrolled crest rails with inlaid tablets, scrolled acanthus leaf carved splats.
Provenance: Cowan's Auction Company in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2009, purchased prior by collector from Rifemoor, Danville, Kentucky, in the 1960's. Slip seats recently reupholstered in plush velvet, secured by screws, and back sweeping sabre legs in back and front.
Recently refinished and reupholstered in gray velvet designer fabric. Excellent condition, no repairs. Sold only as a set.
