Here’s another spellbinder from La Belle France – a beautifully proportioned, magnificently wheel-cut and ample glass vase (over four pounds!). Really, it’s difficult to imagine how they managed to create all this beauty…
Perfect condition, with a cut design on the bottom, for that over-the-top flourish. There’s a subtle pale yellow cast to the glass, which hopefully is apparent in the pictures. The base, the bottom “wheel,” brings to mind a Stieglitz photo from the era! Contrast that machine-age symbol with the delicate flowers and you have… the French esthetic!
About nine and a half inches tall, approximately 6 inches in diameter.
