This is a very sleek and lightweight teak tray by the renowned Swedish mid 20th Century crafts workshop Sowe Konst … Read more This is a very sleek and lightweight teak tray by the renowned Swedish mid 20th Century crafts workshop Sowe Konst of Sigvard Nilsson (1931 - 2007). It measures 19 1/2" x 14" x 1 3/4" with subtle curvature on both ends and two 1/2" pedestal bars on the bottom. I have not come across any images or listings similar to this particular tray because most of the items of Some Konst were never in mass production. Apart from the burnished and faded black maker;s mark on the back this one is bears the signature of Nilsson very demurely embossed with letter-press next to the right bar on the bottom that is best viewed with a magnifying lens. There is no warping and there are no deep nicks or scratches. Overall the tray is in good condition and bears the signs of usage commensurate with its age, storage, and function. less
