Painted in the expressionist style typical of Mid-Century art. The artist is a listed artist known for his expressive artworks, many of them abstract.

Takashi Hayakawa (b. 1941) is a renowned Japanese- born American artist. He graduated from Otis Art Institute in 1969 and has been painting since then, still exhibiting new series to much acclaim.
