Decorated with richly gilt flowers and vines on a tomato red ground. The term handles glazed to simulate bronze. Each quadrangular pillar tapers downward and is adorned on the top with the head and upper body of Pan. A very successful arrangement. Measures 5 1/8" tall x 3 3/4" diameter. Marked on the bottom with a pattern or decorator's number 1116 which suggests Spode but also perhaps Chamberlain's Worcester. Good condition - short hairline to the base - does not detract. See less
