An exceptional pair of Vintage Grand Tour painted concrete Hercules pedestals, masterfully sculpted after the classical hero whose strength and endurance have inspired artists for centuries. Beautifully detailed with refined anatomical modeling and graceful contrapposto poses, these elegant figures possess the timeless grandeur of European garden sculpture. Standing just over 3 feet tall, they have an impressive architectural presence while maintaining refined proportions. Acquired from a Palm Beach estate.
Magnificent displayed as sculptural statements on their own, these figures also lend themselves beautifully to supporting a custom stone, marble, or glass top, creating an extraordinary garden console or entryway table. Equally at home in a formal garden, loggia, poolside terrace, conservatory, or grand interior, they evoke the romance of the Italian countryside and the elegance of historic European estates. A rare decorative pairing that brings museum-quality craftsmanship, classical sophistication, and enduring luxury to any distinguished setting.
