Full of character and stately presence, this hand-knotted wool antique Turkish Oushak runner with Modern style features an intrinsic geometric pattern composed of two hexagonal medallions filled with vase, chandelier, amulets, and stylized florals. One medallion is signed by the weaver. The antique Oushak hallway runner is enclosed with a cartouche style border. The rich waves of abrash sweep across the field enhancing the depth of the composition. Rendered in beautiful variegated shades of ruby red, scarlet red, coffee, espresso, black, camel, tan, ecru, beige, sand, gold, saffron, yellow, orange, flaxen, straw, and beige. Distressed.
