The bird is finely sculpted and its lines are pure in the Art Deco style. The posture of the subject is such that one could observe it in its natural environment: one of its legs, raised, offers an impression of movement, accentuated by the plume of the long feathers of the tail. Its head presents a beautiful and large crest surrounded by a ruff with stylized feathers.
We will appreciate the nice shaded patina of this animal sculpture in gilded metal and its large size.
