Very nice sleek hanging lamp designed by alvar aalto for the building of the finnish engineers association and the council chamber of the town hall of säynätsalo. The lamp with model name a110, which also bears the name 'hand grenade', is very sleek in its design, which makes this lamp a timeless classic.
the a110 lamp is designed to directly illuminate a specific spot like a spotlight, with a little indirect light coming from the top. This lamp is very suitable for above a bar, the workplace, the kitchen, or in a row of several lamps next to each other above the dining room table. The lamp is 44 cm high and has a diameter of 16 cm.
