We were excited to score this MCM Dorothy Thorpe set in the ultra rare "California Wildflower" print. The two piece set includes 1 large square shaped serving plate and 1 large circle shaped serving plate. This design by Dorothy Thorpe was created and hand painted in California on crystal clear Arcoroc French glassware in the 1960's-1970's. The artwork features colorful and lively shade of pink, blue, and orange, and yellow flowers surrounded by lush green foliage. hand painted on clear Arcoroc France glassware. This set offers great versatility and could be used for serving snacks and treats, displaying your treasures, as fabulous classic mid-century decor, or even for jewelry / makeup storage on your vanity.
