The sides are … Read more Tapestry of silk crepe, dyed natural form with café and turmeric, and hand embroidered with silk thread. The sides are finished with a delicate hand-rolled hem and at the bottom, hand-knotted silk bangs. It belongs to a series of hand-embroidered canvases with different and unique designs inspired in the brush strokes used to decorate traditional Iberian ceramics. The embroidery technique used is the one used in Spain to make a traditional shawl, the 'Mantón de Manila', where the embroidery is done by hand with silk thread on silk fabric. Supplied with wooden stick to hang it. Unique piece accompanied by numbered and signed certificate. Signed by Maker See less
