A fine English sterling silver inkwell.
In the Edwardian style.
With notched corners to the base for pens, a sloped pedestal center that supports two gilt inkwell chambers and a hinged lid with engine-turned decoration.
The inkwell is cement filled adding extra stability.
Simply an exceptional inkwell!

It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
There are some spots of persistent tarnish, some visible surface scratches, light dings and indents, a small smile to the hinged lid (meaning it doesnt sit entirely flush), and some light edge wear. Otherwise, there are some very fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
