It was influenced by the Georgian and Adam styles, and was superseded by the American Empire style. This piece is all things federal style but was made by iconic mid-century company, turner. The mirror is rectangular and surrounded by a geometric frame and of course...an eagle! The eagle is a quintessential motif from the Federal Style period. This one is resin, with a bronze color finish and is perched with wings spread over the crown of the mirror. The backside has all of it's authentic and original Turner paperwork. And it has two metal brackets for hanging (portrait orientation). It is large and heavy but the frame itself is delicate so we would recommend hanging it on a wall, it would not do well sitting on a floor or table top and leaning against a wall.
