A lively abstract organic drawing, conceived as an ornamental composition in strong, radiant colors. Executed in colored pastel on paper, signed and dated ‘Fritz Klee, 1965’, and numbered. This later work highlights Klee’s confident handling of form and color, characterized by fluid movement and a playful sense of rhythm.
Fritz Klee was a German artist, porcelain designer, and architect, and a long-time professor at the State Porcelain School in Selb. In his later years, Klee focused increasingly on graphic works, creating expressive drawings marked by spontaneity, ornamental abstraction, and vivid color harmonies.
