A vibrant abstract organic drawing, conceived as an ornamental composition in strong, luminous colors. Executed in colored pencil on paper, signed and dated ‘Fritz Klee, 1959’. The work reflects Klee’s mature graphic language, marked by rhythmic linework and an intuitive sense of color balance.
Fritz Klee was a German artist, porcelain designer, and architect, and a long-time professor at the State Porcelain School in Selb. In his later years, Klee devoted himself increasingly to graphic works, producing a remarkable body of drawings characterized by freedom, spontaneity, and ornamental abstraction.
