The composition still life features birds and butterflies among stylized flowers and leaves surrounded by an abstract geometric frame border. The textured ground is covered in a soft blue glaze while the flowers and insects are glazed with yellows, amber, and off white. The complete original scene is applied to a wood board and is finished with a wood and burlap covered frame. Tiles may be removed for application on a wall as an architectural clay relief. See less
