The painting depicts a woman sitting in profile looking introspective. It is done in an impressionistic style, with an earthy burnt orange background and soft pastels molding her hair, face, and body in mint, white, and soft blush.

The painting was framed by the artist and is unsigned. We have a written account from the woman who inherited the painting from her mother, who also knew Gerry personally.
