This design reflects the prevailing design direction of Japan of the 70s. Metabolism in architecture and kind of futuristic functionalism in design. This luminaire acts like a small character. It is extremely functional. The rubberized arm with rib structure goes over in a lacquered steel foot. The screen is made of metal and closes seamlessly to the arm.
The luminaire is in a remarkably very good condition and has hardly any signs of wear. The rubber is still in very good condition and not porous. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
