A wonderful, iconic example of Reed & Barton's well known, "teardrop," designed, silver plate accent dish. Marked on the underside, engraved states, Reed & Barton, with a number 64 below this. Usually one sees an enameled colored interior to these dishes, but the simplicity of the undulating, tear drop shape says it all. The one end works as a handle, non-obtrusive, utilitarian, and stylish all in one. Can be used for a candy/nut dish, or whatever one may desire. In great condition, with minor scratches.
