My grandmother bought this Coffee Trio from the Royal Copenhagen HVEDEKORN (Wheat Grain) series set in the 1960's during a trip to Denmark.

This elegant and beautiful porcelain series with small embossed stripes was designed by Thorkild Olsen (1890-1973) circa 1960. It has a warm off white color.

All pieces are marked with the Royal Copenhagen hallmark.

Cup and saucer have the 14230 and teaplate 14211

The set comes with 24 pieces - 9 teacups, 8 saucers, and 7 dessert plates.

These pieces are understated with their raised white on white abstracted wheat designs. Simple and elegant, this set is timeless.

The dessert plates are 7 1/2" in diameter. The saucers are 5 1/4" in diameter. The teacups are 2 5/8" tall and 3" in diameter at the top.

Each is marked "Royal Copenhagen Denmark" underscored with 3 wavy blue lines. The plates are #14220; the saucers are #14230, and the teacups are also #14230.
